This is Maximus the Wondercat. Or you can call him 007claws. He's pretty much awesome. And yes, he's wearing a bow tie. He has to look handsome for the ladies when he goes out on the town...or to the park to play in the leaves. Napoleon came too. He was pimped out in his spikes and rocking the popped polo collar. You can see him here.
I got a new turntable this weekend. Mine had died a while back. So out come the records. I've missed the cracks and the pops. To celebrate I just ordered John Mayer's Continuum and MuteMath on vinyl.
I just finished all of my Christmas shopping. That's right, every present bought and ready to wrap all before Thanksgiving. I don't know why I decided to set that goal for myself this year, but it happened. It was nice. I was never elbowed, given dirty looks, or had anything snatched from under my hand. Everyone was happy (and by "everyone" I mean the cashiers). It's definitely more pleasant to Christmas shop before the crazies come out after BLACK FRIDAY (Da Da Dum).
In other news, I had a dream that there were dead mice in my toothpaste so I had to find someone to borrow it from. But apparently I had the last tube left on earth. Strange...
We journeyed to Asheville on Monday night for some Jonny Lang. And was pleasantly surprised by the opener, Reeve Carney (possibly the most beautiful human I've ever seen). Go and listen to his music, it's lovely.
And have you seen the trees? It looks like we might just have ourselves a Fall. Last year everything just turned brown and died. This year, we've got those firey colors that make me want to spend every waking moment rolling about the outdoors.
