Mondays

Mondays in the office are always interesting. You have a variety of moods floating around that by the 4 o'clock hour have turned to restlessness that needs a release. Wigs are perfect for a little change.

And in case you're wondering, I really dig the people I work with.

What's a girl to do?

What's a girl to do on a rainy day like yesterday? Well, first she sits back and enjoys her favorite type of day and she watches The Goonies with the window open and snuggled up with the nap blanket. Then she reaps the benefit of rainy days when she wakes up the next morning to cool, crisp air and a nice breeze while she runs 9 miles.

Oh yes, I ran nine miles this morning. Not that I'm bragging...actually I am. 9 MILES. I'm feeling it now, but wow.

Heck yes, MuteMath came and rocked. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing them live. Well done gentlemen, well done.

Mandy.

I took some photos with the Graflex when Mandy and Shua were in town. They are now developed and waiting on you to see them!

You can watch episodes of KIDS Incorporated over at KIDSincorporated.us. Before I knew it I had wasted an hour and remembered how Ryan used to make my heart flutter. He can sing "Livin on a Prayer" any day for me.

Well, what are you waiting for? Relive your youth. Grab a hairbrush and pretend for one last time you're a part of KIDS Inc. and it's time for one last show at The Place.

You know you want to.

Friday the 13th.

Fact:

Forever21 is awesome.

Italian food is best when shared.

John Mayer knows how to make pretty music.

It was cold.

The moon looked like it fell from the sky.

I got to hang with Joshua and Mandy for a little bit yesterday. We had some Sullivan's for lunch followed by a mini-photo adventure. I'm dissappointed that we didn't get chase away by the owner of something or questioned by the police. But we did go where we didn't belong to find a great backdrop to some portraits. A few pics are up on flickr. The rest will be coming when I get the film developed.

And today, Lee, Karla and myself are heading to the ATL for some Fall shopping and some John Mayer.

Such a bore.

Looking over the last few months, I've noticed that my life has been void of adventure. You can tell by my lack of posts. And the main reason is that I've become lazy. Where's the spontaneity? Where's the excitement? I've become used to closing myself off from the rest of the world and it's not healthy. It's dangerous. I'm tired of having to answer the question "So what did you do this weekend?" with "Oh, nothing much...just stayed at home and rested." Or the question, "What have you been up to/What's going on in your life?" with "Honestly, nothing much." My dreams aren't going to come true that way. Having a list of things to do before I'm 30 is useless unless I put some feet behind those words.

I'm tired of being a dust bunny hiding under the bed. I'm ready to be a tornado.

Clemson.

We went the Clemson game Saturday night. We tailgated and I felt like a kid again.

Or perhaps I'm still a kid, but was just reminded of it.
